This ministry page will be updated once we set our plans for the 2008 academic year. Until then you can get an idea of each ministry area and what we feel that area is called to do.
Worship Ministry
The Worship Ministry is called to usher people into the presence of God through worship. This ministry includes Wednesday evening gatherings; praise teams; worship teams; and other avenues to worship God.
Discipleship Ministry
The Discipleship Ministry is called to nurture others in their walk with Christ. This ministry includes Bible studies; men's and women's accountability groups; book studies; small groups; and other ministries that allow people to grow in the faith through God’s Word. Outreach Ministry
The Outreach Ministry is called to reach out to others and bring them into the Body of Christ. This ministry includes campus outreach events; greeting teams; following-up with members and visitors; and other ministries that allow people to connect or reconnect with the Body of Christ.
Service Ministry
The Service Ministry is called to show the love of Christ through serving those in need. This ministry includes local, national, and international missions teams that are both short term and ongoing.
Fellowship Ministry
The Fellowship Ministry is called to encourage healthy and fruitful relationships within the Body of Christ. The ministry coordinates all social, recreational, and other ministries that strengthen relationships in the light of Christ. Also, our covenant with the Juan Wesley Seminario falls under this ministry where we share mutual support with that seminary in Monterrey, Mexico.
Hospitality Ministry
This Hospitality Ministry is called to be a steward of our physical resources, thereby establishing a clean, welcoming, and loving Christian environment. Ministry responsibilities include: residential obligations; set up teams; work teams; food services; and other services that maximize the ministry potential of our facility.
Communication Ministry
The Communication Ministry is called to inform the Body of Christ and others about the ministry of the Wesley Foundation. Ministry responsibilities include: prayer lists; calendars; newsletters; posters; poster boards; website; emails; mailings; and other avenues of ministry communication.
Financial Stewardship Ministry
The Financial Stewardship Ministry is called to oversee the stewardship of our financial resources. Ministry responsibilities include: money management for ongoing and onetime events and trips; maintaining budgetary items; fund raisers; and other ministries that concern finances.
